Well I really dont know where this week has gone. Can't believe I am writing this post at 8am on a Sunday morning, usually i am normally either asleep or just waking up!! This is mainly due to the fact that Simon left the house at 6am to catch a flight to India. Well having posted by first card on the do crafts website in the week I was touched to see that three people liked it enough to comment and also gave it 5 stars!! The card on todays blog is a similar one to the Tim Holtz inspired card only slighly more improved - well i think so anyway.

My very first post

Well here it is Tuesday 6th July 2010 and here I am almost ready to publish my first post on my brand new blog!!

I have just spent a very enjoyable afternoon with a rep from Creative Expressions at Rainbows. I was invited by Pauline the owner as she was looking to get some more distress ink pads in and these are my pride and joy at the moment, thought it would be good if I could give her some support - however the rep a very nice lady whose name escapes me as I got very engrossed in the cosmic shimmer glimmer mists! How much fun are they - and apparently they work really well with the Tim Holtz masks - havent tried them yet(the misters that is, love my masks) my last attempt with misters prooved disastrous - there was more paint on the table (thankfully it was covered) than there was on the paper and what did come out came out in a what can only be described as a huge blob - paper was soaking and I consequently gave up. Until now as soon as I have finished work tomorrow I will be getting my misters out asap to see what I can create - if it works I will try and link a copy to the blog!!
